Mr. and Mrs Durga Prasad Limbu Honored

Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) honored Mr. Durga Prasad Limbu and Mrs. Rupa Limbu, life members to NCSC with Dosalla in recognition of their dedication, selfless service and continuous support to the Community. Mr and Mrs Limbu have been an integral part of the NCSC who put their own chores behind to serve the community. A certificate of appreciation was presented to the couples by Ms Marichu Antonio (Community Development Program Manager at the Centre for Newcomers) amidst a special function of the Nepalese New Year on April 11, 2009 at Pineridge Community Association in Calgary. Other invited guests during the ceremony were Mr/Mrs Ramesh Anand (past president, India Canada Association), Mr Cala Cesar, the Neighborhood Strategy lead at the United Way of Calgary and Mr/Mrs James Marr (CEO at the Banner  Engineering Consultants Ltd).
