NRN Interaction: Meet, Greet and Treat 

An interaction program with newly elected NRN Canada Officials was held on 24 Sept. 2011 at Centre for newcomers NE Calgary. The program was jointly organized by Nepalese Community Society of Calgary (NCSC) and Calgary Nepalese Community Association (CNCA). The program started with welcome remarks by NCSC President Jagdish Chapagai and CNCA President Rabindra Thanju who welcoming the newly elected NRN Canada President Dr. Binod KC, Vice-President Dr Betman Bhandari and NRN - NCC Member Bishnu Subba, wished for their successful tenure. In the program NCC member Bishnu Subba talked on the issue of linkage between local community organization and NRN. Vice-President Dr Betman Bhandari appraised of the present status of the NRN Canada. President Dr. Binod KC spoke on future direction of NRN Canada and urged all for the cooperation and participation in the NRN activities. The participants in the program raised questions on different issues related to NRN Canada and its programs. The interaction program was moderated by NCSC Vice-President Bharat Regmi.
