DevGroup, in coordination with NCSC, facilitated ‘Everest Rock N’ Roll families’ a Nepalese cultural program, which was supported by North of McKnight Community Resource Center on august 15^th 2009 at Falconridge community center.

The theme of the program was presentation of traditional Nepali wedding concept, where north of Mcknight Nepali  families participated as bride, groom, and bridal family, friends and relatives. The main attraction of the program was on-the-spot activities shows of typical Nepali culture and art of batti katne, Paat gasne, kasar batarne by 7 years kid to 70 years senior women. Sixty participants from different communities applauded the exemplary culture show, which was rocked by various Nepali folk musics.

Devgroup organized food for fun wrap-up program for Everest rock and roll families in Prariewinds park on September 5,2009, Saturday afternoon.

Organized in a potluck manner, Youth participation was exemplary where they used their cooking skill and let everyone taste delicious Nepali snacks and foods. The program was very successful with more than 40 participants actively enjoying outdoor games such as spoon-marble race, Lukai, Volleyball etc., keeping their energetic spirit alive.
