NCSC in community forum and community fair

NCSC actively participated in the forum held with the objective to strengthen collaboration between ethno-cultural communities, immigrant serving agencies and service providers to effectively support more newcomers in their settlement and integration. The program was held by Ethno-Cultural Council of Calgary on 26 March 2011 at Royal Executive Inn.

The program was participated by about 20 community organization and service providing agencies that discussed on the issues related to settlement and integration and worked out recommendation on how we can help the new immigrants more efficiently.  

NCSC President, Mr. Jagadish Chapagain, Event Coordinator, Ms. Shilu Ghimire, Advisor, Bishnu Subba, Executive Members, Mr. Krishna Bhatta and Sushil Gajurel, General members Ms Bibhu Ojha, Mr. Rupendra Ghimire, Mr. Bhuwan Parajuli participated in the program.

NCSC had also set up information booth to raise awareness about culture and community activities  along with the other community groups and service providers who exhibited their culture, programs, and services.
